‘The Improvisers’ are a group of four experienced comedians who will take any suggestion from the audience and turn it into an explosive improvised show. They have been improvising together since 2014 and are known for the great chemistry and playful style of Improv. They have performed over 100 shows all over India, New York, and Dubai. This dynamic group has also studied improv from Magnet Theatre and Upright Citizens Brigade in New York under some of the biggest names in Improv.
About Kaneez Surkha:
Kaneez Surkha is a professionally trained improviser, sketch and stand-up comedian born and raised in South Africa. She is a very famous female comedian and she loves what she is doing for years. Also she is highly qualified. She is very active on a social media. She has been working with AIB (All India Bakchod). For her education, she trained under Adam Dow from Unexpected Productions and later Magnet Theatre in New York City under Armando Diaz.
In efforts to grow the comedy scene, Kannez also worked for Improv Comedy Mumbai (ICM), India’s first Improv Comedy group. Under ICM, she has attended and been invited to over four international Improv Festivals, in Amsterdam, Berlin, Seattle and Toronto.
About Kanan Gill:
Kanan Gill is an Indian stand-up comedian, actor and YouTuber. He won the Punch Line Bangalore Competition. He is known for the YouTube series, Pretentious Movie Reviews where he reviews flawed yesteryear Bollywood films along with fellow stand-up comedian Biswa Kalyan Rath . The first movie that they reviewed was Gunda followed by other movies like “Hum Saath Saath Hain” , “Prem Aggan” , “Aap ka Suroor” and “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge”. He was one of the main personalities behind the YouTube Comedy Hunt and also co-hosted the YouTube FanFest India. He made his debut on the big screen with the movie Noor alongside Sonakshi Sinha.
About Abish Mathew:
Abish Mathew is an Indian stand-up comedian and a YouTube performer. He is known for his work with All India Bakchod and as the host of Son of Abish.
Mathew was born in Kerala in a Catholic family and was brought up in Delhi. He is a history graduate from the Delhi University and worked as an RJ in Red FM, Delhi before becoming a stand-up comedian. He married actress and YouTuber Archana Kavi on 23 January 2016.
About Kenny Sebastian:
Kenneth Sebastian or just Kenny Sebastian is a famous Indian stand-up comedian, musician and film maker. His official website’s description correctly says,”Kenneth is well on his way to change the face of comedy in India”. He did his first stage show when he was just 19. He had participated in a stand-up comedy competition at the IIT fest in Mumbai and eventually won it. That’s when he realised what he was going to do in his life.
